PokePad

The battle manual

How it works.

Every rule, number and safeguard, from your first signature to the winner's buyback.

01

The arena

PokePad is a Pump.fun launchpad where every token is a fighter. Half of each token's creator fees come to the PokePad wallet. Most of that charges the token's battle pot. Every 15 minutes, the token that earned the most fees wins every pot in the arena, and the whole thing buys that token back.

Launch

Your wallet creates the token and locks in the 50/50 split on-chain.

Charge

45% of what each token sends us goes into its own battle pot.

Battle

Every 15 minutes, most fees wins all the pots as a buyback.

How 1 SOL of creator fees moves: 0.50 to the creator, 0.25 protected as SOL treasury, 0.225 into the battle pot, 0.025 for network fees. Branch percentages are of what PokePad receives.

02

Wallet access

There are no usernames, emails or passwords. Connect Phantom, Solflare or Backpack and sign a short login message with a timestamp. The server checks the signature and rejects messages older than 2 minutes. Your account is made the first time you connect.

The login signature is not a transaction and can't move funds.

03

Launching a fighter

Your image and details go to Pump.fun's IPFS. The server builds the launch and test-runs it on mainnet before your wallet sees it. If it would fail (say, not enough SOL for the dev buy), you get the real reason instead of a broken prompt.

  4. 04

    Verify

Server reads the on-chain config. PokePad share must be ≥50%.

  5. 05

    Live

    Token enters the 15-minute battles.

Transaction 1 calls Pump.fun create_v2, plus a dev buy if you picked one. Your wallet signs first, then the server adds the new token's key and sends it.

Transaction 2 sets up the fee-sharing config. It has to be separate because both together go over Solana's 1232-byte limit.

04

The 50/50 fee split

Pump.fun pays a creator fee on every bonding-curve trade. The sharing config sends 5000 bps to you and 5000 bps to the PokePad wallet. Pump.fun's program enforces this, not our server.

A token only enters the arena once the server reads the on-chain config and finds PokePad at 50% or more. The browser can never set a token's status. If a creator later removes PokePad from the split, the token is benched and stops fighting.

05

Charging the pot

Every 2 minutes, the PokePad wallet claims each token's fee share and measures its own SOL balance before and after. The difference is that token's earnings, so fees are always credited to the token that earned them.

Of every claim, 50% goes into a protected SOL treasury, 45% charges that token's battle pot and 5% pays network fees. The treasury is tracked separately and is never spent on battles.

06

15-minute battles

Every 15 minutes, every live token is ranked by the fees it earned since the last battle. Fees are a fixed cut of every trade, so this is the same as ranking by trading volume. It's pure stats, no luck and no dice.

If no token earned fees that round, or the pots add up to less than 0.01 SOL, it's a no contest and every pot rolls over to the next battle. You can watch the live standings and every past result on the Battles page.

07

The winner's buyback

The winner takes every pot in the arena. All of it buys the winning token on its Pump.fun bonding curve in one transaction, and the transaction link is posted with the result.

Each pot is cleared by exactly the amount that went into the battle. Fees claimed while the battle is running stay in the pot for next round. If the winner has already graduated off the bonding curve, the next best token wins instead.

08

Safeguards

  • The PokePad wallet's private key only exists on the server. Its public address comes from that key and is never set separately.
  • Launch transactions are test-run before signing and checked on the server before they're sent.
  • Every transaction is test-run first. If it would dip into the protected treasury, it's blocked.
  • A battle only buys when there's enough spare SOL to cover the pot plus fees. Otherwise the pots roll over.
  • If a battle gets cut off mid-way, battles pause instead of risking paying the same pots twice.
  • The scheduled job spends real funds, so it needs a server-only secret to run.

Risks

Memecoins are extremely risky and most go to zero. Winning a battle buys your token but doesn't guarantee its price. Pump.fun can change its programs or fees at any time, which could pause battles. PokePad isn't affiliated with Pump.fun, Nintendo, Game Freak or The Pokémon Company. Only use money you can afford to lose.
